Fidelis Anosike is a Nigerian entrepreneur and the founder of the Folio Media Group, a multimedia company that includes the Daily Times Nigeria, the country’s oldest and most notable newspaper. 

 Anosike is from Umueri in Anambra State, however he reportedly grew up in Imo State. His father was a police officer who passed away at the age of 52. He was the eldest of eight children, and his uneducated mother had to work hard to support the family.

Education: He attended the University of Benin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative and Applied Fine Arts. He also completed the Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School.

Career

Acquisition of Daily Times Nigeria: In 2005, at age 35, Anosike acquired the Daily Times newspaper and worked to restore it to its former glory.

Folio Media Group: His media conglomerate also includes entities like Miss Nigeria, 1st October, Times Multimedia, and Creative Africa Xchange (CAX).

Resignation: In June 2025, Anosike announced his resignation from the board of Folio Communications to make Mr. Aliu Akoshile the new Chairman.

Investments: In addition to his media holdings, Anosike also has other business interests and investments.

Personal life: Anosike was reportedly married twice before his union with actress Rita Dominic. He and the actress began dating in 2017 after meeting at the Africa International Film Festival; they married in 2022.

Fatherhood: In July 2025, it was reported that Anosike celebrated his son’s graduation and passing the bar exam.
