Inna Angoussa is a Cameroonian influencer turned singer. Originally from the Mayos village in the East Region of Cameroon; she is from the Baka ethnic group (Pygmy) in the rain forests. She left school early because of financial difficulties.
Inna rosed to fame after her relationship with Douala-based TikToker Patrice Wogha went publicly in late 2024. Their relationship ignited discussions online—some people accused Patrice of exploiting Inna and orchestrating publicity stunt, with allegations of “bewitchment,” while others defended the genuineness of their relationship. Inna’s rejected claims of charm or manipulation, saying: “This doesn’t hurt me because I know I didn’t charm my husband. It’s simply the love from the heart.”
A civil ceremony is set to take place on January 25, 2025, at the municipality of Douala, followed by a religious ceremony at Bonamoussadi Cathedral.
Following the January wedding announcement, the couple shared their honeymoon pictures from Douala, although their plans for a trip to Dubai were said to be canceled due to financial reasons.
Debate Surrounding Exploitation some human rights organizations expressed worries that her narrative was distorted through social media to take advantage of indigenous populations, with allegations that she was paid merely around 50,000 FCFA ($80), and that the marriage could have been orchestrated.
A few months after the much-anticipated wedding between the pygmy and Patrice Wogha, another buzz erupted on social media following a recent video release by him. While many believed that the marriage between the two lovebirds would put an end to the speculations from Cameroonians claiming it was all just a publicity stunt, this time, the facts seem to support their claims.
Indeed, Patrice Wogha expressed his anger in a video posted on his Facebook account. In this video, he was seen sitting on a bed in a room with another woman, whom some are identifying as his real girlfriend. Patrice Wogha stated that he does not know “who this Inna is.” He even expressed shock of him having produced and shared videos with her on his TikTok account. To back up his statements, he said, “wherever I go, I notice that people keep saying ‘Inna’s husband.’ Honestly, I don’t understand anything at all. I don’t know who this young lady is and I don’t get it.”
Inna is now venturing into music and released her very first single “MA’A NGOLA” in May 2025.
