Ma Rayzer

Born Wilson Agbor Effa Ayissi, known by his stage name Ma Rayzer, is a Cameroonian folklore artist. Ma Rayzer hails from both the Southwest and Centre Regions of Cameroon. Born in Yaounde to a Bayangi mother and Ewondo father.

Education: Ma Rayzer studied at Lycée Bilingue Essos, GHS Bokwango and Bilingual Grammar School Molyko. He holds a Banking and Finance BSc from University of Buea, Risk Management MSc from Université Lille-II, and Big Data/AI MSc from Paris’s Data Science Tech Institute. He was an AI PhD candidate at Ohio State University.

Career and music: Ma Rayzer loved singing since childhood. While studying at the University of Buea, he owned a recording studio, Zion Side Records, in Molyko Buea.
