Stanley Omah Didia popularly known as Omah Lay was born on May 19, 1997 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Omah Lay is from the Ikwerre ethnic group in Rivers State.

He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He is recognized for his unique Afro-fusion sound, which blends Afrobeats, R&B, and soul, and for his deeply personal and introspective lyrics.

Omah Lay was raised in a musical family in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Both his grandfather, who played for Celestine Ukwu, and his father were musicians. His upbringing influenced his perspective on life and music. 

Career: Starting in a rap group called “Lil King,” he later became a music producer and songwriter at age 16.

Breakthrough: His debut singles “Do Not Disturb” and “Hello Brother” were released in 2019. His song “Bad Influence” went viral in 2020, leading to his breakthrough.
