Reno Omokri is a Nigerian author, lawyer, activist, social media influencer, and former presidential aide who was born on January 22, 1974 in

Family and Education: He was born to Justice Jean Omokri and Princess Helen Bemigho and is of Isekiri lineage from Delta State. Reno Omokri holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Wolverhampton. He has also mentioned attending the University of Benin, where he was involved in student preaching. 

Omokri served as VP at Joe Trippi and Associates, a US political consulting firm.

He is a prominent political critic and public figure in Nigeria. Omokri served as a Special Assistant on Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015. He is currently a Vice President at Joe Trippi and Associates and is also an author. He hosted Transformations With Reno Omokri from 2015 to 2016 and is a social media influencer. He was recognized as a Business Insider Influencer of the Year in 2022 and among the most talked-about individuals in Africa in 2024. 

He founded the “Free Leah Sharibu” movement. For his activism, he received the Humanitarian of the Year award at the Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival in 2019.

Ethiopian partner: After his separation from Onuwaje, Omokri began a relationship with an Ethiopian woman named Hanna, with whom he resides in London. He refers to Hanna as his “wife” and has praised her on social media. In 2021, the couple welcomed a child.
