Selemani Mwalimu Abdallah, born on January 19, 2006, is a Tanzanian professional footballer who plays as a striker or centre-forward. He is currently on loan at Simba SC from Botola Pro club Wydad AC and represents the Tanzania national team.
Early career and rise: Mwalimu began his youth career at FGA Talents FC. He later joined Singida Black Stars FC in 2023. He was loaned to KVZ S.C. for the 2023–24 season, where he was the top scorer in the Zanzibar Premier League with 20 goals and 7 assists in 27 appearances. While on loan at Fountain Gate during the 2024–25 season, he quickly became a leading scorer and was recognized as the league’s top player for September 2024.
In February 2025, Mwalimu moved to Wydad AC in Morocco from Fountain Gate. He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract; reported transfer fee was TSh 891,000,00.
International career: Mwalimu is a member of the Tanzania national football team and has been included in the squad for the AFCON U-20 tournament.
