Chioma Avril Rowland-Adeleke, popularly known as Chef Chi, is a Nigerian celebrity chef, social media personality, and entrepreneur who was born on April 1st, 1995, in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, into a family of Seventh-day Adventists. Her father, a renowned Nigerian businessman, raised her with sisters Jennifer, a fashion designer, and Ifunanya.

She graduated from the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria with a degree in Economics.

Married to Nigerian star Davido, they met at Babcock University through a mutual friend. Their relationship began in 2015, going public in 2018 when Chioma appeared in Davido’s ‘Assurance.’

The Nigerian singer proposed to her in London in September 2019. Their 2020 wedding was postponed due to Covid-19. They eventually held a traditional ceremony in November 2022 with close ones present. Davido confirmed their marriage during a March 2023 interview.

Their first child, David Adedeji Adeleke Jr., was born on October 20, 2019. Tragically, he drowned in the family’s swimming pool at their Banana Island home in Lagos, Nigeria, just days after turning three.
