<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Early Life, Education and Ethnicity</h2>



<p>Cameroonian veteran actor, producer and senior biomedical scientist, Otia Vitalis Suh was born on 8 of November 1967; he grew up in Tole, located in the Southwest Region of Cameroon, and he hailed from Menchum Division of the North West Region. His childhood was spent on a CDC plantation, and he later went on to study at Bishop Rogan College in Buea.</p>



<p>While in Bishop Rogan College, Otia Vitalis was member of a drama club, which gave him the urge to continue acting after high school.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Acting Career</h2>



<p>The actor, who is also a director and producer, has appeared in more than 50 movies and three TV shows, including 4th Generation, Hidden Dreams, Saving Mbango, Daniella the Slave Girl, Love Trap, Dzemakou, Samba, Maestro and Broken which is on Netflix. He earned nominations and recognition in the Film Industry for putting Cameroon on the map.</p>



<p>Pioneer in the Cameroonian film Industry, Otia Vitalis founded the Red Feather Award which is out to promote Cameroon Culture in Entertainment. </p>



<p>Aside from being an actor, he was also a professional medical laboratory scientist at the research unit of the university of Yaounde I. </p>



<p>Following his studies, he joined the Medical Service at the HEVECAM Agro-Industrial complex in Kribi. He then moved to Nigeria for further training, and after completing it, he came back to Cameroon in 2004.</p>



<p>The iconic actor passed away in Yaounde on June 9, 2024, at the age of 57.</p>
