Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike popularly known as Phyno Fino is a popular Nigerian rapper, song writer , singer who started as a producer in 2003. He was born on the 9th of October 1986 and is known for rapping in the Igbo language. His name was given to him by his school friend derived from the word phenomenal.

The prolific Igbo-language rapper wanted to become a pilot or a medical doctor. Through out his secondary school days, he played the piano and drums. He studied public administration at the institute of management and technology. He started rapping in 2017 then relocated to Lagos.

His debut studio album in 2012 featured prominent artists like Psquare, Omawumi and others. Phyno did a collaborative album with Olamide and they both announced it’s release on social media which was scheduled for the 1st of April 2015. November 2015, the artist put together the biggest concert in Africa at the Nnamdi Azikiwe studio as he brought Phynofest back. He was accompanied by other amazing singers like Timaya, Runtown, Flavour and others. The artist was also a casts of Genevieve Nnaji’s movie Lion Heart playing the role of Obiora.

Phyno has an estimated net worth of $10 million US dollars (₦5 Billion).

Phyno was rumored to be responsible for Rita Edmond’s pregnancy, which he denied.
