Sultan “Sultex” Aregbe Obanikoro

Sultan Aregbe-Obanikoro, popularly known as Sultex, is a Nigerian professional dancer, choreographer, casting director and filmmaker from Lagos State. He gained national recognition in 2026 after becoming one of the original housemates on Big Brother Naija Season 11. At 24, he entered the show with several years of experience in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and a goal of expanding his reach.

Early life and background

Sultex was born on March 29, 2002 in Lagos State, Nigeria.

His background, however, is strongly connected to the performing arts. Dance became an important part of his identity and eventually developed into professional work in entertainment.

Career

Sultex has worked professionally as a dancer and choreographer, while also developing experience behind the scenes as a casting director and movie director. His career therefore covers both performance and film production, giving him experience in different aspects of the entertainment industry.

His skills as a dancer were particularly visible during the Big Brother Naija launch, where he showcased his dance ability before entering the house. Africa Magic subsequently described him as one of the contestants bringing a strong entertainment background to the season.

Personality and interests

Sultex describes himself as straightforward, confident and energetic. His official BBNaija introduction emphasised his “realness” and his intention to bring his natural personality into the house. He also presented himself as someone interested in relationships and social interaction.

Away from professional dance and filmmaking, his hobbies include playing video games, dancing, table tennis and football.

Big Brother Naija Season 11

Sultex joined Big Brother Naija Season 11 on 26 July 2026 as one of the 24 original housemates. During his introduction, he performed dance moves and told viewers that he intended to bring his personality, entertainment experience and straightforward approach to the competition.

One of the highlights of his BBNaija journey came in Week 3, when he was named the Most Influential Player of the Week. The recognition earned him immunity from the following eviction and a tablet as part of his reward.

Eviction

Sultex’s time in the house lasted five weeks. On 30 August 2026, he was evicted alongside fellow housemate Goddessa during a live eviction show. According to Channels Television, Sultex received 4.77% of the public vote, while Goddessa received 5.02% and Bells received 5.22% among the housemates facing eviction that week.

His final days in the house also attracted attention following a confrontation involving fellow housemates Bells and Yusuf. Big Brother subsequently placed Sultex on behavioural probation and issued a final warning before his eventual eviction.

Personal life

At the time he entered Big Brother Naija, Sultex was publicly listed as single. His official introduction also portrayed him as someone open to romantic connections while participating in the BBNaija experience.
