Gerard Adebija

Gerard Osinitega Adebija, popularly known simply as Gerard, is a Nigerian actor, radio host, presenter, writer and content creator. He gained wider recognition in 2026 after becoming a housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 11. At 23, he brought a strong interest in communication and performance to the reality show.

Early life and background

Gerard was born in 2003 and is from Kogi State, Nigeria.

Career

Before BBNaija, Gerard developed a career across several areas of entertainment. His official Africa Magic profile identifies him as an actor, radio host, presenter and content creator. He has also described himself as a creative who enjoys acting, writing and working with words.

His creative interests extend to screenwriting, storytelling, modelling and performance. In a later professional description, Gerard identified acting and performance, screenwriting and script development, commercial and editorial modelling, and creative strategy as areas of his work.

Gerard is particularly interested in communication and creative expression. He says he can rap, sing, act, speak and write, and describes his ability with words as one of his notable strengths. His hobbies include gaming and reading.

Gerard’s time in the house lasted until 6 September 2026, when he was evicted during the show’s Week 6 live eviction. Following his eviction, he said he had anticipated that his name might be called and reflected on the increasingly intense nature of the competition.

After leaving the house, Gerard also discussed his relationship with fellow housemate Kamsy, explaining that he did not want his public identity to be defined solely by a BBNaija romance because he wanted audiences to recognise his other talents as well.
