Model
Ofentse Modise
Ofentse Modise is a South African model, creative, and reality television personality who became known nationally after appearing on Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, “Bazozwa.” At 26, the Mamelodi native entered the house with confidence, charisma, and a strong belief in being himself.
His stay on the show lasted only two weeks, but it was certainly memorable. Ofentse quickly became one of the more talked-about housemates, earning both passionate supporters and critics. He was also involved in some of the season’s early romantic drama and became the first housemate to win the Head of House challenge.
After leaving the show, Ofentse made it clear that Big Brother was only one chapter of a much bigger creative journey.
Early Life and Background
Ofentse Modise was born on February 28, 1999. He is from Mamelodi, Gauteng, a township east of Pretoria. He entered Big Brother Mzansi representing the place he called home, something that carried considerable emotional meaning for him.
Before entering the house, Ofentse said he wanted to put Mamelodi on the map and make the people from his community proud. He described his background as a combination of street credibility and life experience, qualities he believed would help him connect with other people.
He also spoke warmly about his mother and the role she played in shaping him. According to his Big Brother profile, his mother worked hard to raise her children to be respectful, patient and self-sufficient.
For Ofentse, entering Big Brother was therefore not just about personal fame. It was also a chance to represent where he came from.

A Creative Personality
Although Ofentse was officially introduced to viewers as a model, his interests go well beyond modelling.
He describes himself as a creative person with a passion for writing, directing and music. His Big Brother audition video introduced him as a storyteller, director and musician, showing that entertainment had already been an important part of his life before reality television.
His professional background also includes work in film and production. A public professional profile lists experience with Burnt Onion Productions, including work connected to film and television projects.
This creative background helps explain why Ofentse was attracted to Big Brother. The show offered him a huge platform to express his personality while also introducing him to an audience far beyond his existing creative circles.
Entering Big Brother Mzansi
Ofentse became one of the 23 contestants who entered the Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 house in January 2026.
He was 26 years old at the time and was listed as a model from Mamelodi, Gauteng. His approach to the game was relatively simple: he wanted to be himself and build genuine connections.
Ofentse believed that he understood people well and that people could understand him in return.
He felt that this emotional awareness would help him make friends, form relationships and eventually win viewers over.
His philosophy was less about creating an elaborate strategy and more about allowing his personality to carry him through the competition.
His Personality
Ofentse entered the house with a lot of confidence.
He had what could easily be described as a strong presence. He was comfortable expressing himself, interacting with others and putting himself at the centre of conversations.
But there was another side to him as well.
Ofentse described himself as someone who understood people and valued genuine connections. He wanted to be accepted for who he really was rather than pretending to be someone else for the cameras.
That confidence, however, sometimes worked against him.
Some viewers and housemates interpreted his behaviour differently from how he intended it. He eventually became known as one of the season’s more controversial personalities.
Ofentse’s Love Language
Ofentse was open about being affectionate.
His official profile listed his love language as touch and kindness, while another official-style profile described it as transparency and physical touch.
This affectionate side quickly became visible inside the house.
Ofentse was involved in some of the early romantic storylines and became particularly close to Trixie.
Their relationship generated plenty of attention, especially after the two shared a kiss.
Ofentse and Trixie
One of the memorable moments from Ofentse’s short Big Brother journey was his connection with Trixie.
The two developed an attraction inside the house, eventually sharing a kiss that Ofentse later described as one of his favourite moments from the competition.
After his eviction, he recalled the kiss as a beautiful and sensual moment.
Their connection added another layer to Ofentse’s time in the house. He was not simply playing a social game; he was also forming genuine emotional and romantic connections.
Becoming the Head of House
Ofentse made history early in the season by becoming the first Head of House of Big Brother Mzansi Season 6.
Winning the challenge immediately placed him in a powerful position.
For a contestant who had only just entered the house, it was a major achievement. It also gave Ofentse greater visibility and influence among the other contestants.
However, the position came with its own pressure.
Ofentse later admitted that being Head of House was one of the moments when the negativity surrounding him started getting to him. He said he became emotional while staying upstairs, although he eventually decided to embrace the situation rather than allow it to overwhelm him.
The “Villain” Label
One of the biggest surprises of Ofentse’s Big Brother experience was how quickly he became labelled a villain.
Ofentse said he never entered the house intending to become one.
In fact, he insisted that he had no elaborate strategy. He simply wanted to be himself and allow things to happen naturally.
However, his confidence, romantic interactions and disagreements with other housemates created a different impression among some viewers.
He eventually decided to embrace the label rather than allow it to upset him.
As he explained after leaving the show, drama seemed to follow him even when he was not deliberately looking for it.
Did Ofentse Have a Strategy?
Interestingly, Ofentse said he did not enter the house with a fixed strategy.
He believed his personality was enough.
He told Sowetan that he planned to simply be Ofentse and let things happen naturally. He rejected the idea that his relationships with women or his confident personality were part of a carefully designed game plan.
For him, his so-called “aura” was simply part of who he was.
That approach made him unpredictable, but it also meant that different people interpreted him in very different ways.
Some viewers loved his confidence, while others found him arrogant or difficult.
Nomination and Eviction
Despite his strong start, Ofentse’s Big Brother journey came to an unexpectedly early end.
He was nominated for eviction during the second week of the competition.
On 25 January 2026, Ofentse was evicted alongside Lawredo, making them the first two contestants to leave Big Brother Mzansi Season 6. He had spent 14 days in the house.
The eviction surprised Ofentse.
He felt he still had many stories to tell and believed he had plenty more to contribute to the competition.
After leaving, he described himself as shocked because he believed he had a strong presence and had only just begun exploring what he could do in the house.
Reaction to His Eviction
Ofentse’s eviction caused a strong reaction among viewers.
Some fans were unhappy about the decision and argued that he had been removed too early. His departure became one of the first major talking points of the season.
There were even fan discussions about the possibility of giving him another chance.
Ofentse himself said he would happily take a second opportunity if it ever came his way.
That confidence remained intact even after his early exit.
