Acting Career and Breakthrough

One of Clémentine’s standout performances comes in Ben’Imana, a 2026 feature film helmed by Rwandan director Marie-Clémentine Dusabejambo. She takes on the role of Vénéranda, a woman working toward healing and reconciliation within her community while navigating complex personal and family struggles. Set in Rwanda during 2012, the narrative delves into the profound aftermath of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, examining themes of accountability, forgiveness, and the restoration of human connections.

The film achieved significant worldwide acclaim when it was chosen for the Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard program.
