Family Background and Musical Connections

Inniss’ family is rooted in the Montserrat calypso tradition. Her father is Keithroy “De Bear” Morson, one of the island’s best-known calypsonians.

De Bear has enjoyed considerable success in local and regional competitions. His achievements include winning the Leeward Islands Calypso Monarch title in 2023 and again in 2026. He is also recognized for his performances in Montserrat’s annual carnival competitions.
