Stanley Enow’s Birthday: February 8, 1985


Cameroonian rapper, radio, Tv presenter and voice actor Stanley Ebai Enow was born on the 8th of February 1985 in Bamenda Cameroon.

Mostly known as King Kong or *Bayangui boy*. He grew up in the west region of the country and was brought up in a typical Presbyterian family. He was already an entertainer through out his youthful age.

Once in secondary school, his passion and zeal for music and dancing took a different dimension as he wrote his first lyrics in form two when he schooled at GBHS Bafoussam. The singer started break dance thanks to inspiration he got from dancers and artists like usher, not leaving out his peer influence. Following an interview he did in 2017 he spoke about his elder brother who is a hip hop lover and bought tapes of Ja Rule and 2pac which helped to motivate his artistic lyrics.

After he obtained his advanced level, he decided to relocate to Doula to fully pursue his artistic career given that baffousam doesn’t really have the artistic kind of vibe. The artist felt that Douala was more suitable to enhance his music career. He then enrolled in the university of Douala and studied business communication then graduated in 2010.

Thanks to his talent, he became a Douala radio host who was highly solicited. His eloquence, fine masculine nature and swift ability to express himself in both English and French enabled him to get many working deals and even a deal with the prominent Tv host and rapper Tony Nobody.

Following this, he had many more opportunities of working as host for shows.Talking about the song which brought him to the lamb light *Hein pere* Stanley Enow narrated how he got the inspiration to come up with the piece . The song is a song of motivation and hope for youths in despair. The song was released in March 2013 under his record label mother land empire and made waves through out the world. This same year, he won male artist of the year and urban artist of the year at Cameroon academy awards. Following this the artist began doing international collabos with both Africans and American artists. The artist’s incredible talents has granted him many endorsement deals and he keeps making the manyu and Cameroonian community proud.
